Prada L'Eau Amber

As we fly past the climax of summer, you might feel as if your love flame for summer's perfumes is waning. After all, there is only so much aquatic character, sugared fruit, and tropical madness that one can take. But hold a bit longer, and before you know it the most anticipated perfumes for fall 2009 will be here.

Over the past couple of months, Dolce & Gabbana has also been creating lots of perfume buzz over their latest show of perfumes called D&G Fragrance Anthology. The hype first began with the release of an ad campaign in which sexy models pose nude for this new perfume line. All buzz aside, the perfumes aren't half-bad. Each one is a one-of-a-kind rendition on sweet, fresh, floral, and woody notes. Even before their release of the perfumes, Naomi Campbell's L'Imperatrice and Noah Mills' L'Amoureux are getting lots of love. Expect these two perfumes to fly off the shelves!

Prada L'Eau Amber will be one of the first perfumes to hit the market in September. This perfume is the female version of the original Prada Amber Pour Homme for men. The original Amber Pour Homme is a bubbling clean perfume that boasts soft notes of leather, and sweet neroli and tonka bean. Prada L'Eau Amber, on the other hand, is a floral perfume. The key notes of this fragrance are vanilla, rose, a hint of citrus, and patchouli. It seems Prada's Amber perfumes will be as different as black and white. Obviously Prada is not trying to go for a refurbished scent here.

After enjoying two successful years of Daisy, Marc Jacobs once again ventures into floral territory. This time however, they steer far from the immaculate character of Daisy, and plunge into something a little more flirty and fun. Lola, as they call it, will include hints of vanilla, pear, creamy musk, grapefruit, and loads of florals. Attempting to top the Daisy bottle's cuteness, Marc Jacobs created an array ofjewel-toned of vinyl flowers to sit at the top of this perfume bottle. This perfume sounds like a perfect lead from summer perfumes to winter fragrances.

Alternatively, Yves Saint Laurent revisits its most popular perfume, YSL Elle. This upcoming fall, Yves Saint Laurent will release YSL Elle Shocking which will be a softer version of the original. While Elle Shocking reuses the same floral scents, it does however play in some new notes of musk, raspberry, and patchouli. This news should come as sweet relief to those who found the original one screaming utter nonsense with its intense dose of sweet florals, citrus, and dry woods.

Kenzo also reused a loved classic for the fall by taking "Flower" to a deeper level. Kenzo's newest perfume, Flower by Kenzo Essentielle, will be a mix of vanilla, jasmine, rose, and incense. Kenzo promises this floral perfume will actually smell specifically floral unlike the repulsively abstract one of Flower by Kenzo.

From the looks of it, fall 2009 will no doubt offer grand fragrant temptations for leaving behind your antiquated summer perfumes.
